Dr. Suleiman Mohammed Lame, Rector, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi said the institution will start offering Post Graduate Diploma this year.
Dr. Lame who gave the hint while speaking during the Rector’s Cup final match competition at the school football pitch on Thursday said that the Post Graduate Diploma will cover about nine courses.
He said that the feat will give an ample opportunity to Higher National Diploma graduates from the polytechnic and other institutions across the country to have a better chance and proceed to do their masters right away.
The Rector who described the institution as one of the best polytechnics in the country, said it offers National Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Nigerian Certificate in Education as well as degree courses in various fields.
Dr. Suleiman Lame while commending the organizers of the competition for a job well done, lauded the students for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the period of the competition.
The Polytechnic said it was grooming athletes in preparation for the NIPOGA zonal elimination competition.
