A member Representing Katagum Federal Constituency in BauchiState, Umar Abdulkadir Sarki has commiserated with victims of Ragwam-Magwanshiward of Katagum local government area over a recent attack by unknown gunmenthat left one dead and scores injured.

Salahuddin Yakubu on behalf of the rep member described as “barbaric and adevastating tragedy not only for families and friends of the victims, but alsofor the Katagum as a Constituency and Bauchi state as a whole.’’“As the families of the unfortunate victims mourn, I willlike to use this medium to extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to
them at this very difficult and trying moment, and pray that Allah comfort andgive them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”, Honorable Sarki said was quoted as saying.Sarki also commiserated with the District head of Ragwam,Emir of Katagum and Bauchi stategovernment, urging them not to relent in prayers for the souls of the departed souls and theirfamilies.
He said his foundation FARAR TAFIYA FOUNDATION will foot themedical bills of the five victims admitted at Federal Medical Centre, Azare inorder to cushion the effect of the attacks on the constituents.
Sarki also pledge to liaise with security agents to fish outthe culprits and bring them to book.
The attack which took place on Sunday by unknown gunmensuspected to be robbers left five persons with various degrees of injuries.
They are currently admitted at Federal Medical Center Azare.
