Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa, the husband of appeal former appeal court president, Zainba Bulkachuwa, has confessed to influencing the latter’s judicial decisions in favour of his colleagues at the Nigerian Senate.
In a video that went viral on social media, the All Progressives (APC) senator representing Bauchi North, was seen splitting out words publicly about his wife and some members of the senate.
“Particularly my wife whose freedom and independence I encroached upon while she was in office and she has been very tolerance and accepted my encroachment and extended her help to my colleagues,” Bulkachuwa said
He was, however, scolded by the Senate President Ahmed Lawan who urged him to be cautious of his words.
“Distinguish, I don’t think this is a good idea going to this direction. I don’t think so,” Lawan said.
