Abubakar Y Suleiman, Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly has commended the students of Mass Communication, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi for promoting unity among diverse Nigeria’s cultures and religions.
The Speaker made the commendation during the annual MACOSA Cultural Week, the largest cultural event of ATAP organized by Mass Communication Students Association, MACOSA.
Suleiman who was represented by his Special Adviser Comrade Ja’afar Ibrahim Dass said the event which showcases cultural heritage of various tribes in the country is a forum for promoting national unity and cohesion.
He added that the Department of Mass Communication has promoted the name of the Polytechnic through academic excellence and it’s various initiatives and innovations.
Hon. Suleiman further said he holds ATAP with high esteem being an alumnus of the institution; adding that his doors will remain open for both management and students of the Polytechnic.
