Speaker of the Bauchi state House of Assembly, Abubakar Y. Suleiman is scheduled to receive an award as the most ‘Media Friendly Speaker of the year, 2019’ at a maiden public lecture organized by Arewa Online Publishers’ Association in Kaduna.
The maiden lecture and award presentation comes up on Wednesday 27th November, 2019 with a theme; the role of new media in nation building to be delivered by Prof. Umaru Pate of Bayero University Kano (BUK) at Arewa House, Kaduna.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the General Coordinator of the Association, Mr. Dominic Uzu, said some distinguished Nigerians and Corporate Organizations who have made outstanding contributions to nation building will be honoured at the occasion.
The Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman will be the Royal Father of the Day while the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-rufa’i is the Chief Host of the event.
The Association with its headquarters in Kaduna, is a collection of seasoned practising Journalists who operate Online Media platforms across the 19 Northern States and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
