Malam Sani Danga, Galadima Cheledi of Kirfi local government area of Bauchi State, Malam has appealed to Governor Bala Mohammed to come to their aid by providing a lasting solution to frequent flooding in Cheledi community.
He made the appeal in an interview with our reporter on Friday in Bauch.
he said despite losses suffered by Cheledi Community in the last year’s flooding, the government state has not done anything to address the problem.
Malam Danga said last year’s flooding has left a devastating effect on the lives of most members of the community, urging wealthy individuals and Non-governmental organisations to come to their aid, considering the magnitude of the disaster.
Galadiman Cheledi while commending the state government for providing relief materials to victims of last year’s flooding, appealed for more assistance to the victims in order to further ameliorate their hardship.
