Between Abuja Driver and Online Vendor, Lady’s Products Worth N60,000 Are Missing

Ameera Mustapha Saleh, a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has detailed how crocs shoes she ordered went missing between an online vendor, Sadiq Abubakar Auwal, and a driver who was supposed to deliver them.

The ABU alumni in a Twitter post accused Auwal of refusing to waybill three pairs of crocs she had purchased since October at the rate of N60,000.

“Hey tweeps, remember the day I came talking about a guy @Sadeeqh_paper,  who happened to scam me of 60,000 naira. I ordered 4 pairs of crocs and refused to deliver them,” Saleh tweeted.

She added that after failing to deliver the products, Auwal refused to refund the money and also blocked her on Twitter.

“I asked for a refund but he blocked me. I can’t imagine how he sleeps peacefully with this huge debt,” she added.

In response, Auwal countered her claims. He commented under the tweet with a screenshot of a  waybill form.

“Here is the receipt that I sent your crocs, what else kuma,” he tweeted. “The driver said you should go to Mabushi park [in Abuja] and claim your parcel.”

Further, Saleh shared screenshots of her conversation with the vendor prior to the deal.

However, the vendor told Wikkitimes he did not cheat Saleh. But he confessed to having blocked her and admitted it was wrong.

“Her parcel is not with me,” he claimed.”Since the first of November I waybill her stuff to Abuja. Wallahi tallahi I didn’t cheat or scam her. The only issue here is I block her which is totally wrong. She keeps on pressuring [sic] me, that’s why I block her.”

Auwal added that she called Saleh after she requested a refund, but she neither responded to the calls nor his messages.

“My only mistake was blocking her and to be honest, it was the pressure from her. After I waybilled her stuff she said she wants a refund, she doesn’t want the shoes again. I have been calling her for two days now without response from her,” he said.
