“Beware of Fraudsters” – ATBU Warns Job-Seekers

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) has refuted purported claims indicating that it is accepting employment applications.

The University in a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Zailani Bappa said job seekers who paid anyone to facilitate their employment in the University do so at their peril.

“The attention of the Management is drawn to the persistent activities of fraudsters in the name of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.

“There are reports of people extorting money from unsuspecting job seekers with the promise of offering them a job in the University.

Similarly, Bappa added the University is not in the process of employing staff in any capacity, nor has it employed any persons to aid the process on its behalf. This also applies to the admission exercise which has its official procedure.

“The public should be wary of these fraudulent persons and report anybody who advances financial request to them in the name of finding for them either a job or admission in the University,” he warned.
