Chief of staff to the Bauchi State governor Alhaji Abubakar Kari has “voluntarily” resigned, a statement issued to Journalists by media aide to the state Governor Muktari Gidado has said.
The statement said the Governor has approved the appointment of Ladan Salihu as Kari’s replacement with immediate effect.
WikkiTimes could not establish reasons for the resignation of the Chief of Staff as at press time.
The Governor thanked Kari “for the selfless service rendered during his tenure of office as Chief Of Staff and wished him Allah’s guidance in his future endeavours.”
Ladan Salihu, until his appointment is the commissioner of Information and Communication.
