Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Bauchi State Governor has emerged as the new chairman, governors’ forum under the flagship of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This was disclosed by Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Adamawa State governor, on Saturday at the Government House in Bauchi.
WikkiTimes learnt that Mohammed emerged as the chairman during a day retreat organised by the opposition party for members elected under its platform.
Mohammed who would be deputised by Rivers Stare Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, succeeded his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde.
Commenting to the post, the governor promised to work hand-in-hand with his colleagues to develop the party to a greater level.
While Mohammad is a reelected governor, Fubara is one of the first-time governors inaugurated last Monday.
