The Jos division of the Court of Appeal has validated an earlier ruling made by the election’s petition tribunal in Bauchi which dismissed a petition filed by Farouk Mustapha against the victory of Adamu Bulkachuwa.
WikkiTimes recalls that the petition against Bulkachuwa was dismissed at the trial court as lacking in merit and on technical grounds.
Farouk and Bulkachuwa contested for the Bauchi North Senatorial election under the platforms of the New Nigeria People’s Party and the All Progressive Congress.
Farouk Mustapha filed a petition challenging the victory of Adamu Muhammad Bulkachuwa of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State.
Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa is the husband to Nigeria’s Court of Appeal President, Zainab Bulkachuwa.
