Muda Lawan, a daily market in Bauchi metropolis has been engulfed by an inferno, WikkiTimes can report.

While the cause of the fire had not been ascertained, it was gathered that a lot of shops were razed.

The incident happened on Thursday evening around 7 pm.

Officials of the fire service in the state were seen at the scene and were trying to curtail the fire.
