A member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Dass constituency, Honouroble Musa Mante was killed by suspected gunmen on Thursday night at his residence in Dass.
The gunmen, suspected to be armed robbers invaded his house at the wee hours of the night.
The Bauchi State Police Command through its public relations officer, DSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakili has confirmed the killing.
Ahmed Wakili said “two of his wives and a daughter were kidnapped by the gunmen”.
He said details would be made available by the police about the incident.
Wakili said Rashida Musa mante 40 years, Rahina Musa Mante 35 years old Fausar Musa Mante, 1 year old were the wives and daughter of the deceased who are still in captivity.
He said 4 empty shell of life ammunition was recovered at the scene of the incident.
WikkiTimes recalls that Hon. Musa had tested positive of COVID-19 some weeks ago and was recuperating at home.
