Buhari Leads Party’s Campaign in Bauchi Tomorrow

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to lead All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and governorship campaign in Bauchi State on Monday.

The APC’s presidential flagbearer, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and its governorship candidate, Sadique Baba Abubakar would also be in Abubakar Tafawa Balewa stadium for the campaign. This is contained in a statement signed by APC Presidential Campaign council’s Spokesman, Bayo Onanuga on Sunday.

Onanuga stated that the campaign programs will commence from 8.30 to 11.30 a.m, tomorrow. From there, Buhari will fly to Lagos for a two-day official visit.

“The president is also expected to inaugurate the Lekki Deal Sea Port, a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) venture between the Federal and Lagos State Governments and a private company called Tolaram,” said Onanuga.

According to him, Buhari would also inaugurate one of the largest in the world, the 32-metric tons per-hour Lagos Rice Mill, as well as the 18.75-kilometre six-lane rigid-pavement Eleko Junction to Epe Expressway.

APC presidential campaign would be in Abia and Ogun states between Tuesday and Wednesday, then Benue and Taraba State on Thursday, according to Ononuga. “The last political rally is billed to be held in Zamfara State on Saturday,” he stated.
