As tussle for who should replace President Muhammadu Buhari’s late Chief of staff, late Abba Kyari rages on, a group known as the Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO), has endorsed Senator Abba Ali for the job.
The national coordinator of the organization, Alhaji Danladi Garba Pasali in a press statement issued on Friday evening, said their support for Abba Ali, was bone out of his sincerity, truthfulness and experiences.
Also, a group of former legislators have of recent, endorsed Senator Ali, as the right person to be appointed by the President due to his competence and dexterity.
President Muhammadu Buhari has in 2019, approved the appointment of Abba Ali as the Chairman, African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
“Senator Abba Ali, being an intimate friend and one of the president’s class mate and chairman of the president’s forum of class mates, meaning that President Buhari is very much aware of his sincerity, hence he deserved to be appointed into the position”, BCO opined.
According to the group, Ali’s vast administrative and political strides are potential qualities that further makes him fit to hold the office perfectly.
“One other reason is that Senator Abba Ali’s efforts as national patron of the BCO, whose political strides have been in support of President Buhari since his surgion into politics,” they said.
The national coordinator called on the President Buhari to consider appointing Senator Abba Ali, as his chief of staff, as according to him, “the cap fits him best”.
