The news of the boy’s death was first broken by a popular Nigerian actress and close friend of the singer, Eniola Badmus, in a now-deleted post.

This has garnered reactions on social media, with users condemning her for breaking the news, tagging her as a ‘carrier of bad news’

“Davido should avoid Eniola Badmus. What was the essence of posting a picture so quickly? A celebrity chasing clout,” a user said.

“Eniola Badmus tho. Everyone prays not to be a bearer of bad news, what’s the eagerness for? Now there are too many speculations considering the fact that you’re close to him,” another stated.
