A Magistrate Court sitting in Bauchi has ordered for the remand of Bala Mohammed, a Bauchi randy man who trended on Facebook for flaunting his pictures with women he dated.
The court, upon mentioning of the case brought to it by the police, ordered the accused to be remanded in a custodial facility for 20 days pending the determination of the case.
Speaking to Albarka Radio shortly after his remand, Mohammed said it was one of his old girlfriends that reported the matter to the police which led to his arraignment in the court.
He reiterated his earlier stand that he has done nothing wrong in having affairs with the women, adding that up to today, he still takes intimate pictures of himself and women.
“I was here in the court because one of the women whose pictures trended on social media reported to the CID (Criminal Investigation Department). There are others who reported me to Shariah Commission and Tambari Police station, and I deleted the pictures they appeared in, and the matter was resolved”.
“I intended to show the pictures with my friends, the girls I had a relationship with, by then they were not married, which to my belief is nothing wrong. The ones that are married and don’t want the pictures should come to me and I will delete them”, said Mohammed.
Recall that Mohammed had flaunted plenty pictures of his girlfriends that they snapped together in compromising situations.
Speaking at the Bauchi Hisbah Board after he was said to have been reported by some of his former girlfriends who are now married, Mohammed said he was enjoying his life and no one has the right to stop him, since the country is a secular state.
