COVID- 19: Fear of God, reverting social inequalities, measures to tackle coronavirus – Don

A University Don on Monday, says that the fear of God and reverting social inequalities are the only measures to tackle the global coronavirus pandemic.

Malam Jamilu Yaya of the department of Sociology, Bauchi state University, stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Bauchi.

Yaya said “the near solutions to the global menace is not only through the continuous hand washing, wearing of nose and face masks.

“Quarantining of suspected cases, blocking social interactions, but the primary measures are the fear of God and reverting the ongoing social inequalities.

“Domination, exploitation and of course withdrawing the terrorism ideologies spread across the rich developing countries by the super powers.

According to him, “it is obvious, that the entire world is facing a serious downplay, not only on economic, but also in the social, political and cultural spheres due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19.”

Yaya explain that coronavirus is a pandemic disease, that first surface in Wuhan China, at the tail end of 2019, skyrocketing through 2020.
