Truck Drivers in the employ of Dangote Group have blocked Obajana expressway protesting trimmed quantity of diesel given to them for delivery of cement across the country.
The drivers decried poor remuneration which plunged them and their families into undeserved hardships amid general poor economic misfortunes prevalent in Nigeria.

One of the protesting drivers who does not want to appear in print, said their take-home pay has been slashed down by authorities of the company without any justification or an explanation as to why the pay reduction.
The resulting protest, WikkiTimes learned, subjected motorists driving into the north through Kabba, to unnecessary delays, wasting hours in a heavy traffic jam.
The protesting Dangote truck drivers were later dispersed by personnel of the Nigerian Army.
