Dogo Gide Releases Another Set of Girls Kidnapped from Kebbi School

A bandit kingpin, Dogo Gide, has released three of the remaining seven girls of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri, kebbi State, his team kidnapped two years ago.

Those released are Elizabeth Ogechi Nwafor, Esther Sunday and Aliya Abubakar. The terrorists had released four girl mid-April after a ransom was paid.

“It took six days of negations in the forest before four of the girls were released to us,” a source who was part of the negotiating team had told Daily Trust.

The chairman of parents of the Abducted School Girls’ Forum, Malam Salim Kaoje said the three girls were released on Sunday evening, adding they arrived at Kebbi on Monday afternoon.

“Yes they released three of the school girls to us on Sunday evening. They are already with the State Government”, Kaoje said. He did not state if any ransom was paid.
