‘Don’t Elect Corrupt Leaders In 2023,’ Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Warns Nigerians

Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Leader of the Tijjaniya Order in Nigeria, has asked Nigerian voters to elect only leaders that they know are credible in the 2023 general elections in the country.

He said anyone who will eventually become the next Nigerian President, must be honest and transparent in all his dealings with the electorates.

Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi said this on Friday when he received the National Executive Council of Adamawa State Students in his residence.

He expressed sadness over the insecurity, banditry, kidnapping and other challenges facing the country, observed that the country needs an experienced Leader with the fear of Allah to solve these and many other practical problems in the country.

The renowned Islamic scholar asked Nigerian voters to vote wisely during the next general elections in the country.

Sheikh Dahiru advised the students to always be focused and put the interest of the nation above their personal ones.

National President of Adamawa State Students, Comrade Abubakar Nurudden Modibbo, regrets the incessant strikes by the ASUU, which retard university education in Nigeria for years.

The president called for urgent intervention of eminent Nigerians like Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi to end the matter to allow students to continue their studies.

The institutional failure in Nigeria is ascribed to bad leadership and corruption which hindered the country from reaching the top considering the abundant natural and material resources available in the country.
