A former Plateau Central Senator and deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, is dead.
Mantu died in the wee hours of Tuesday, LEADERSHIP newspaper reports.
Details about the cause of his death is still sketchy as of press time.
Mantu was born on February 16, 1947 in Chanso, Gindiri District of Mangu local government in Plateau State.
WikkiTmes reports that Mantu’s popularity had risen during the reign of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
