EXPOSED: FG Plans Swap Deal With Abductors of Kaduna-bound Train Passengers

Terrorists who kidnapped dozens of the Kaduna-bound train on March 28, 2022, have revealed that the Nigerian government is planning a swapping deal with them, HumAngle is reporting.

The terrorist disclosed this via an audio message through Tukur Mamu, the spokesperson of Sheikh Mahmud Gumi, a Kaduna-based Islamic cleric.

The audio, obtained by Desert Herald contained a conversation between the terrorists’ spokesman and Mamu.

According to the terrorist, the federal government wanted a swap deal. The government has pushed for the release of eight children, and further negotiations will be held regarding the release of the remaining captives.

However, the terrorists had threatened to kill the remaining captives should the federal goverment fails to meet their demands.

“We don’t need money. We have a good reason for doing what we did,” the spokesman said in his conversation with Mamu. “Until our demands are met, none of the victims will come out alive even if it means we all die with them. They are well taken care of as you can see from the pictures we sent to you via WhatsApp but we assure you that this will not continue.”

Recall that the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) postponed its plan to commence the operation of Abuja-Kaduna train on May 24, the terrorist claimed that the decision (postponement) was reached “because of them.”

In another view, WikkiTimes understand that the postponement was influenced by a protest organised by the captives’ families.
