Abductor of Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Prof Onje Gye-Wado, have demanded a N70 million ransom to release him, but his family members are begging them with N2 million.
A family source told Punch on Saturday that the kidnappers placed a call for the first time since the abduction of the professor on Friday.
Gye-Wado was kidnapped last Friday in Gwagi village of the Wamba Local Government Area of the state by unknown gunmen.
According to the source, the family members pleaded with the abductors to accept N2 million.
