According to Daily Trust, these cooperatives will have the option to repay the government with a portion of their harvests.

This approach aims to ensure fair and equitable access to fertilisers for all, thereby guaranteeing optimal pricing for farm produce and enhancing food security.

The governor also urged farmers and pastoralists to maintain harmonious and cooperative relationships to prevent conflicts that could destroy lives and property and hinder development.
