FG Establishes Nigerian Youth Academy to Empower Young Nigerians

The federal government has officially launched the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA), a comprehensive digital platform designed to provide young Nigerians with the tools and opportunities needed to build a brighter future.

The initiative was unveiled by the Minister of State for Youth Development, who expressed deep pride in this new hub of inspiration, transformation, and opportunity.

NiYA aims to address the challenges faced by millions of young Nigerians by offering a range of online and live classes, connecting participants with experts, and fostering a digital community dedicated to personal and professional growth. The platform is set to become a key resource for skill development, entrepreneurship, and career advancement, ensuring that every Nigerian youth has access to the support they need to succeed.

Key features of NiYA include a Lifetime Resource Hub, which provides users with ongoing access to educational materials and essential resources, and a Start-Up Support program offering virtual mentorship and funding opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. Additionally, NiYA is committed to increasing youth participation in politics through internships and volunteer programs, and connecting young people with employers via virtual and physical job fairs.

With partnerships involving leading educational institutions, corporate bodies, and development organizations, NiYA is set to create a vast ecosystem for the youth, ensuring that every young Nigerian has the opportunity to thrive in an ever-changing world.
