The Federal Government has unveiled the list of five approved universities for Nigerians to patronise in Benin Republic.
Minister of education, Prof. Mamman Tahir, made this known when he appeared in a Channels TV programme “One-on-One with Education Minister’ Sunday night.
Below are the five accredited conventional universities that have been authorized to provide degree programs in the Republic of Benin for students from Nigeria:
- UNIVERSITE D’ABOMEY-CALAVI
- UNIVERSITE DE PARAKOU
- UNIVERSITE NATIONALE DES SCIENCES, TECHNOLOGIES
INGENIERIE ET MATHEMATIQUES. - UNIVERSITE NATIONALE D’ AGRICULTURE.
- UNIVERSITE AFRICAINE DE DEVELOPMENT COOPERATIF.
These five officially recognized universities in Cotonou, Benin Republic, are all public universities.
Wikkitimes reports that the federal government has banned degrees obtained from Cotonou between 2017 – 2024.
