A fire incident Thursday has razed down house of Bauchi traditional title holder, the Galaje of Bauchi, Alh. Adamu Abba Galaje.
One of the family members Aminu Abba who survived from the incident with minor injury, said the incident happened at about 10:am while family members were busy in the house, situated at Baba Sidi Area in Bauchi metropolis, when all of a sudden fire flames engulfed the house.
The house was almost completely burnt down when personnel of fire service arrived at the scene, but they were able to control the inferno from spreading in neighbouring houses, as no life was also lost in the incident.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. The traditional title holder was the immediate past Northeast zonal coordinator of the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON).
WikkiTimes gathered that a similar incident occurred two months ago at the residence of his younger brother, late Malam Sama’ila Abba adjacent to the Galaje’s house. The house was also razed completely down in an inferno that it cause has not yet been established.
WikkiTimes also learnt that the family members of late Abba were taking refuge in the house of the brother, Galaje before this incident.
Meanwhile, sympathisers have been trooping to the residence to commiserate with the family over the inferno.
