First 5 Months: Bauchi Gov’t spends N10.8 billion in education—Gov Bala

Governor Bala Muhammad of Bauchi state says his administration has so far injected over N10.8 billion in the education sector in Bauchi state.

 Governor Bala Muhammad stated this at this year’s Zaar annual cultural festival held in Tafawa Balewa.

Represented by the commissioner of commerce trade and investment Muhammad Alhassan Muhammad Sadiq, the governor said reviving the education sector remains one of his administration’s cardinal objectives.

Governor Bala also reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to revive the cultural heritage of people of the state.

 The national president of Zaar Development Association Engineer Isuwa Galla said the aim of the annual event was to promote unity and peace among the zaar people and other ethnic groups in the area.

He reaffirmed the association’s commitment to support policies and programmes of government at both state and federal levels.

The event was attended by sons and daughters of the area, as well as politicians within and outside the state.
