The All Progressives Congress (APC) has charged security agencies in Nassarawa state to fish out the murderers of the state chairman of the party Chief Philip Tatari Sheko.
Philip was killed by unknown assasins over the weekend in the state, the incident that elicited reactions from Nigerians.
Bauchi state chairman of the party Alhaji Uba Nana in a condolence message issued to journalists Monday gave the charge to the security agencies.
He said the assassination of Philip has further exposed the high level of insecurity when terrorists in the names of bandits, kidnappers, armed robbers, Boko Haram and political thugs kill the citizens with impunity.
While commiserating with the government, people of Nassarawa state and APC family nationwide on the loss, Nana called on the security agencies to intensify efforts in order address the myriad of security challenges in the nation.
“We also call on them to conduct thorough investigation with a view to fishing out the murderers of the late APC chairman and bringing them to justice”. He said.
