Five people were reportedly killed in two separate attacks in Udeghe in Gwer West local government area of Benue State.
Four people died on the spot when the attackers opened fire on them. Another person was killed when attackers opened fire on a bus at.
Eye witness account said, “on Thursday at about 4:30 pm, unknown gunmen on a shooting spree mission killed four people at the spot in Udeghe. At sunset, the gunmen killed one after opening fire a bus.”
BBC Hausa reports Police Public Relations Officers, Benue State Command said the report of the attacks did not reach the command as at the time of filing the report.
