Umar disclosed this yesterday while addressing journalists in Minna, the state capital.

The commissioner claimed insecurity across the state has subsided, adding there are still some threats and attacks in some communities, especially in Mashegu, Mariga, and Kontagora local councils.

“There is improvement in the security situation in the state,” he claimed. “There has been a reduction in attacks but we are aware that the threat is still there and still exists. Of recent, we have seen attacks in the fringes of Mashegu, Mariga, and Kontagora.”
