A group of former legislative aides to former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Barr Yakubu Dogara, have spoken up in defense of him.
The group led by Yusuf Yau Dass discredited the allegations raised by the first group of aides who had criticized the politician’s political actions leading up to the gubernatorial elections in the state.

Yusuf Yau referred to the previous aides as “disgruntled elements” and alleged that some of them had been benefiting from Yakubu Dogara’s generosity for almost two decades.
The group responded to allegations made by a former aide to the Bauchi state governor, Barrister Kefas Musa Magaji, and his associates during a press conference.
The group said the allegations levelled against Dogara were unfounded lies and encouraged the public not to believe them.
Yusuf Yau Dass also questioned how Governor Mohammed got the funds to build a massive private residence in Bauchi, given that he had failed to pay workers’ salaries and pensions since 2019.
He urged people to invest their votes in Air Marshal Sadiq, the man who brought Air force University to Bauchi state and more specifically Tafawa Balewa.
