Former Bauchi’s Wikki Tourist Coach, Dogo Now Heading Kwara United

Kabiru Dogo, the erstwhile coach of Bauchi-owned Wikki Tourists has taken over the affairs of Kwara United following the resignation of Abdulazeez Mohammed.

WikkiTimes gathered that Mohammed resigned from his position yesterday evening following a continued poor performance of the team which was recently outshined by Nasarawa United at the New Jos Stadium on Saturday.

Kumbi Titiloye, Kwara United’s Chairman revealed that Mohammed’s position cannot be left empty, hence the appointment of Dogo who also exited his Bauchi team over poor performance. WikkiTimes gathered that Dogo left Wikki Tourists as the team’s head coach after submitting his resignation to the management of the Bauchi Elephants last month. He alleged lack of support from the club’s hierarchy.

Under Mohammed’s leadership, Kwara United only won a match against Akwa United FC. It drew two against Gombe United and Shooting Stars Sports Club and lost four other fixtures in this season’s Nigeria Premier League (NPFL).

Dogo is expected to help Kwara United bounce back in NPFL. His opening match as the team’s coach would be against Ogun State’s Remo Stars on February 15.
