The Federal University Kashere (FUK) in Gombe State has announced that it would hold its 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Combined Convocation Ceremonies in July 2025.
The events are scheduled to take place from Tuesday, July 1, to Saturday, July 5, 2025, to celebrate the achievements of several graduating classes in the grand event.
The University, in a public notice, said the convocation ceremonies will feature the award of diplomas, first degrees, higher degrees, prizes, and the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees.
The university leadership extends a warm invitation to the general public, alumni, and stakeholders to participate in the festivities.
It added that the official programme kicks off on Tuesday, July 1, with a press briefing at 2:00 p.m. in the Senate Chamber. This will set the tone for the week’s activities, providing details and insights into the upcoming events. On Thursday, July 3, the university will host a Convocation Alumni event at the Entrepreneurship and Service-Learning Centre Auditorium, starting at 2:00 p.m., fostering connections between past and present students.
“In addition to the alumni gathering, a two-day exhibition will run from July 3 to 4, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, showcasing the university’s achievements and innovations. One of the highlights of the convocation week will be the investiture of the Chancellor and the undergraduate convocation ceremony on Friday, July 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., held at the Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall, the notice said.
The institution noted that Professor Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, will deliver the convocation lecture, while Senator Danjuma Goje will chair the occasion.
The grand finale of the convocation will be held on Saturday, July 5, with the award of higher degrees and the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees.
