Arrangements have been completed for the celebration of 40 years in existence of Government Secondary School Disina in Shira Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The school established in 1979 was among the few secondary educational institutions set up shortly after the creation of the state to provide quality education to citizens of the state.
Since establishment, the school has produced notable personalities who have made landmark in their chosen carriers, within and outside the state.
Some of them include the current Accountant general of Bauchi, the Director Protocol Bauchi State and the current Head of Code of Code Bureau Nasarawa state
Activities lined up for the 40th anniversary celebration include a meeting of the Old Boys Association where new executives would be elected, a tour of the school and a fund raising to help families of deceased and incapacitated old boys among others.
The event is expected to be attended by all graduate of the school is, slated for Sunday 29th December, 2019 in the morning at the school premises.
