One Adeboye Lawal, a watchman in Ibadan, has duped his neighbour, Abiodun Joseph the sum of N30,000,000 in an alleged land scam.
The Duo reside at Kolapo Ishola Estate, Akobo in the ancient Yoruba city of Ibadan.
The watchman marketed the plot he claimed to be within the same estate on the instruction of the natural owner of the landed property who is based in Germany.
William Adebowale, Commissioner of Police in charge of Oyo State Comand while parading the suspects said the watchman connived with a lawyer and presented fake documents for the plot in question to justify their crude dealing.
He said the victim after noticing a sudden twist in the deal, sought to obtain genuine documents of the land form relevant government agency in Oyo but learned that the initial documents presented to him are fake.
