Armed men, last night, invaded the residence of a Gombe-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ibrahim Musa also known as Albanin Kuri and killed him.
The cleric was murdered at his home at Tabra, an outskirt of the Gombe metropolis. Locals told WikkiTimes the cleric would be buried according to Islamic rites by 01:00 PM today.
Pre-burial prayers would be held at Bolari Jumu’a Mosque, Gombe. However, details of the incident remain sketchy.

At press time, Gombe Police Command could not confirm the incident. When contacted, Mahid Muazu, the command’s spokesman said he would revert to our reporter.
