Kaltungo Local Government Chairman in Gombe State, Hon. Iliya Suleiman, has distributed food items to a Tsangaya school and Christian orphanage as key beneficiaries of food palliatives to alleviate hardship in the area.
WikkiTimes reports that Gombe State Government has distributed food palliatives across the state’s 11 local government areas for onward distribution to the most vulnerable people in the state.
Suleiman acknowledged the Tsangaya School, and the Orphanage are part of vulnerable groups that deserve to be supported to ensure inclusion in the palliative efforts.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya for his timely intervention and pledged the local government’s continued support for the governor’s initiatives.
