The Gombe state Police Command has mourned the death of former police public relations officer, Bauchi State Police Command, CSP Haruna Mohammed.
Muhammad Haruna reportedly died on Sunday after an illness in Gombe Federal Teaching Hospital.
In a statement signed by the Police spokesperson, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, the deceased was described as a seasoned and dedicated officer during his lifetime as a Nigeria Police Officer.
It read in part: “CP Hayatu Usman psc offers his condolences to family members and loved ones of late CSP Muhammad Haruna, his demise is an irreparable loss to the entire NPF and the family. May almighty Allah give the fortitude to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
“Before his demise he served as second in command of the State Intelligent Department of the command, as a seasoned and dedicated police officer the command will forever remember the everlasting impact of the Officer. The command offers its sincerest condolences.”
