Gov Bala Praises Finance Commissioner, Modibbo Over 2022 Tax Remittance

Bauchi state governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has commended his Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Honorable Modibbo Abdulkadir Ahmed for his commitment exhibited in the discharge of his official responsibilities which assisted the state to emerge as the best-performing state in Tax Remittance in the first quarter of the year 2022 in the county.

The commendation was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim on behalf of the governor.

Governor Bala Mohammed urged the Commissioner to maintain the tempo in order to serve as a role model to his colleagues and subordinates for them to emulate for economic growth and development.

“I am pleased to convey the commendation of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for your commitment to your duties following the recent award to the State as the Best Performing State in Tax Remittance in the 1st quarter of 2022.”

On his part, the Finance Commissioner, Modibbo Abdulkadir Ahmed reaffirmed his total and unalloyed loyalty and support to the governor for the success of the administration and attributed the successes recorded by the ministry to the outstanding support of the state government.

“I am short of words to receive this letter of commendation from my boss, whom I always call him as Mr Project, His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed, Kauran Bauchi, this commendation has become a moral booster to all of us in the Ministry of Finance. I also appreciate the support and cooperation of the entire management and staff of the ministry for working collectively with us to attain this position.

“Special appreciation to the Management and staff of the Internal Revenue Service for accepting to support our Governor to reform tax system which is the key to all the achievements we are recording now.”
