Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau, has expressed shock over the death of his former Commissioner for Special Duties, Hitler Dadi, who died on Wednesday from an illness.
Lalong in a statement by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Makut Macham on Thursday in Jos said his death was a great loss not only to his immediate family, but also the people of Langtang South Local Government and the entire state.

He eulogised the deceased for serving the state diligently during his term as commissioner for special duties, saying he made meaningful contributions to the success of his administration in its first term.
The governor also acknowledged the contributions of the deceased to the state, where he served as chairman of Langtang South Local Government Area on three different occasions and impacted on the lives of his people.

The deceased was also a veteran journalist, who served in the Nigerian Television Authority.
He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.(NAN)
