Group introduces organic malaria medicine in Bauchi hospitals, sensitizes medical doctors, nurses

A group known as Tradomed Pharmaceuticals has sensitized medical doctors and Nurses at the Bauchi State Specialist Hospital on the newly introduced herbal organic tea called Tradomal used for the treatment of acute, complicated and uncomplicated Malaria attacks.

The medicine is thought to be the first scientifically processed malaria herbals in this part of the country.

Speaking with reporters in Bauchi at the end of the sensitization the Vice Chairman of the company Abba Goji​ said the has proven to be effective in geographical regions where resistance to chloroquine has been reported.

Goji said “The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Health gave the manufacturers of​ the medicine an endorsement letter for the medicine to be used in all the health facilities in Nigeria and beyond. there is nothing like TradoMal in Nigeria”.

He adds that “Both in the category of a herbal-Organic or in the dosage form of tea (also known as Infusion, there is nothing like it. This is the first time in the history of Nigeria that this sort of product is existing and is also given approval both by NAFDAC and Federal Ministry of Health”.

According to him the products were produced from plants after 15 years of research.

He expressed satisfaction with the cooperation they have been receiving from the Bauchi State Government and the State Ministry of Health as well as medical practitioners in the State.
