Unknown Gunmen have invaded a community in Kaduna state and killed the Director of Operations of the Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS), Malam Dauda.
The attackers breached the security network and assailed Barakallahu community in Igabi local council of the state on Friday killed the officer and moved out without touching any valuable material in the house.
Speaking to the newsmen on the incident, the District Head of the Barakallahu, Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi, said the attack was simply an assassination planned by murderers.
This is simply a case of assassination because they went to only the victim’s house, killed him, and left the community. They did not take anything in his house nor did they attack the guard and his wife.
Barakallahu community is about five kilometres away from Kaduna main town, along the Kaduna-Zaria road.
Similarly, some gunmen also stormed a community at Zangon Shanu in Sabon Gari local council of the state and kidnapped a nursing mother with her baby, and an elderly man identified as Mallam Abubakar Garba Aliyu and his son as well.
An eyewitness stated that “the gunmen came in large number and stormed the area through the back fence of Ahmadu Bello University. They rode on motorbikes carrying sophisticated arms.
