Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped a sister to Isa Funtua, a lecturer at Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State.
Funtua via his Facebook page disclosed that his niece also fell victim to the midnight terror attack.
“Kidnappers attacked my house last night and took away my sister and her daughter. Please include them in your prayers,” he wrote.
There were no further details whether the gunmen have kidnapped other people in the neighborhood.
ASP Abubakar Aliyu, police public relations officer in Katsina, did not pick up a phone call from WikkiTimes for comment. He did not also respond to an SMS text sent to him as of press time.

The abduction occurred few days after governors and other political leaders from the region converged in the state to chart a way out of the perennial attacks on communities in the Northwest.
Katsina State is one of the states in the region bedevilled by the activities of bandits, resulting in the deaths and kidnappings of hundreds of people and the displacement of thousands.
