The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board on Wednesday said 1,645 Kaduna pilgrims have returned home in three flights after successful 2019 Hajj.
The Board’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Malam Yunusa Abdullahi said in a press statement that the third flight, Max Airline, arrived Wednesday evening with 554 pilgrims.
The statement added that the fourth flight was expected to bring more pilgrims on Aug. 29.
It explained that all the pilgrims were given five litres of Zamzam holy water each while claiming their luggage at Hajj Transit Camp, Mando.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the total number of pilgrims that performed the 2019 Hajj from Kaduna State is 3,544. (NAN)
