It was a flood of tears amid a raging cloud of sympathy that Harira Jubril, a 32-year-old pregnant woman and mother of four was laid to rest in Anambra yesterday following their gruesome killing by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Harira was killed while returning from Anambra North where she took along her four kids on a visit. The kids: Fatimah, Aisha, Hadiza and Zaituna aged nine, seven, five and two accordingly were shot by the IPOB beside their mother last Sunday.

WikkiTimes gathered that the expectant mother was tipped to have delivered off her pregnancy this week.

Arewa community in Anambra State said that Harira and her four children are amongst 15 other people of northern extraction that were killed.

“On Sunday, we started receiving calls from our members from various locations in the state that the so-called IPOB had launched a series of attacks on them, which led to the deaths of about 15 persons.

“That of Orumba local government was the most trending because it involved a pregnant woman named Harira Jibrin and her four children. They were murdered in the middle of the road by these faceless and wicked people, called unknown gunmen,” Mahmoud Imam, leader of the Arewa Community in Anambra said.

However, there has been no arrest made in connection to the unfortunate incident, while the governor has declared a dusk to dawn curfew in some areas of the state.
