Abubakar Abubakar, a son of a Kwara-based hunter has reportedly taken to his heel after shooting his brother during a gun experiment.
BBC Hausa reports that the incident, which happened in Dutse Gogo town of Kaiama local council on Sunday resulted in a commotion in the area.
The spokesman for the command, Okasanmi Ajayi in a statement confirmed that the command had already dispatched officers to arrest anyone involved in the killing.

According to Ajayi, the command received reports that Abubakar killed his 12-year-old younger brother, Yusuf Abubakar while testing the potency of a shotgun on him.
The father of the two brothers, Abubakar, is a hunter, WikkiTimes learnt.
Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama also added that the police have already launched an investigation into the matter.

The police revealed that the victim was shot after wearing a talisman believed to protect him against gunshot. Unfortunately, he immediately fell and died.
Ajayi said the suspect had escaped into the bush after committing the heinous crime. The police further advised parents to monitor their children’s activities with weapons.
