The newly appointed Secretary to the Bauchi State Government (SSG), Aminu Hammayo has revealed that his appointment came as a surprise hours before his swearing-in.
Hammayo described the decision as a testament to Governor Bala Mohammed’s trust in him.
Speaking Monday shortly after assuming office, Hammayo pledged unwavering loyalty and commitment to advancing the governor’s vision for Bauchi State.
“I will work like there is no tomorrow,” he said, vowing to align with Governor Mohammed’s results-driven leadership.
The SSG emphasised the importance of trust and dedication in public service, lauding the governor’s judgment and expressed his determination to meet the high expectations of the role.
Hammayo promised to support all efforts to develop the state, calling on citizens to trust in the administration’s commitment to progress and good governance.
