Malam Musa Wakili, the father of 32-year-old slain Harira has demanded compensation from Anambra State Government for the blood of his daughter and her four children.
Harira was killed on Sunday evening while returning home by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB. Harira was killed along with her four children, Fatimah, Khadija, Hadiza and Zaituna aged 9,7,5 and 2 respectively.
He said since the occurrence of the incident, he could not rest day and night. He said it is high time for governments across all levels to consolidate efforts to ensure maximum security of the lives and property of Nigerians.
BBC Hausa reports that Harira’s husband confirmed that she was killed while coming back from a visit in Orumba North.
He said he felt as though he is going mad out of terrifying shock of the gruesome murder of his wife and children.
